Axiomtek introduced NA342, its new cost-effective compact network appliance platform, designed to support the newest system-on-a-chip, quad-core, 22nm Intel® Celeron® processor J1900 at 2.0 GHz (formerly codenamed “Bay Trail”). The NA342 aims to provide SOHO customers an energy and cost-effective network appliance platform. Four Intel® i210AT Gigabit Ethernet ports are integrated with one pair LAN bypass function. The desktop system supports one DDR3L un-buffered SO-DIMM with memory maximum up to 8 GB. In addition, it features one internal 2.5″ SATA HDD for storing event log and a PCI Express Mini Card for wireless/3G/LTE network connection. The NA342 is an excellent choice for VPN, content filtering, UTM, network security gateway, firewall and much more.

In order to address the various network application needs, the NA342 features one internal 2.5” SATA HDD, one CompactFlash™ slot, one console port, one high-speed USB 2.0 ports, one super-speed USB 3.0 port, and one PCI Express Mini Card expansion slot. For easy maintenance and management, there are front-facing LED indicators on the panel for power and HDD activity monitoring. The unit also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 operating system.
