Axiomtek’s RISC-based DIN-rail Fanless Embedded System with High Durability – IRU131

The extreme compact embedded system utilizes the low-power NXP i.MX6UL Cortex-A7 528MHz processor; furthermore, it supports NI LabVIEW to allow users to design graphical user interfaces for their measurement applications quickly and efficiently. With a very small profile and easy access design, the IRU131 can be integrated into a variety of different locations where you need it. Additionally, this IoT device has an industrial grade IP40 rating and has passed heavy industrial CE and FCC testing.

“The IRU131 is a very compact, high performance industrial IoT gateway which can be used to develop powerful and low power IIoT applications such as machine monitoring and predictive maintenance. It enables machines to connect to the internet and communicate with one another easily. Its vertical din-rail makes it easy to be installed in a small cabinet and offers various fast-transfer input/output ports”, said Jessie Wu, a product manager in the Software and Solution Division at Axiomtek. “The IRU131 can withstand harsh operating conditions with a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and vibration resistance up to 2G. Its wide voltage range of 9V to 48V DC power input with terminal block-type connector makes it suitable for use in harsh environments. The ready-to-run DIN-rail gateway is specially designed for unmanned control room, industrial machine, automatic parking lot, traffic cabinet, and many more applications requiring remote control and monitoring management functions.”

The IRU131 comes with multiple built-in I/O ports offering magnetic isolation protection including one serial port (RS-232/422/485), one 10/100 Mbps LAN port, one USB 2.0 port and one 2-IN/1-OUT DIO port for greater availability and reliability. This fanless DIN-rail box PC is equipped with two PCI Express Mini Card slots and one SIM card slot for wireless connectivity. Additionally, there is 8GB eMMC onboard storage and 512MB DDR3 memory. The IRU131 also comes with an embedded Linux operating system Yocto (Fido) to provide an open standard operating system for software program development.
