This palm-sized embedded system supports the Intel® Celeron® processor N3350 (codename: Apollo Lake) and one 204-pin DDR3L-1867 SO-DIMM slot with up to 8GB memory. It is equipped with one channel Gigabit PoE (Power over Ethernet) port allowing connection to a camera and/or any PoE device for machine vision applications such as automated optical inspection (AOI) and surveillance system.
“Axiomtek’s industrial-grade embedded vision controller, eBOX565-312-FL, features a wide operating temperature range of -20ºC to +55ºC and up to 3G vibration endurance, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. It comes with 1-CH GbE PoE which supports IEEE802.3af, offering users a significant cable reduction and simple installation with a lower total cost of ownership,” said Janney Lee, a product manager of Product PM Division at Axiomtek. “Furthermore, the easy-swappable HDD drive bay allows easy HDD replacement.”
The IP40-rated fanless embedded system provides rich I/O interfaces including two HDMI ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, four USB 3.0 ports, one Gigabit Ethernet port, one Gigabit PoE port, and two SMA type connector openings for antenna. One PCI Express Mini Card slot enables the addition of wireless cards. It is also equipped with one 2.5” SATA HDD and one mSATA for storage. Moreover, a user-friendly AT/ATX DIP switch is designed to allow users to change power mode with a single click.
To ensure the eBOX565-312-FL can be integrated into a variety of different settings, it offers flexible mounting options including VESA mount, wall mount and DIN-rail mount. Additionally, it is compatible with Windows® 10 IoT and Linux operating systems. It also supports Axiomtek’s exclusive AXView software for smart device monitoring and remote management Industrial IoT applications.
